Description | The project will increase the resiliency of the Northwest Langley Digestion and Biogas Facilities grounds in Metro Vancouver against liquifaction during an earthquake. This work will ensure that the expansion of the treatment plant can safely occur. The project works will ensure the expansion of the facility occurs by reducing the liquefaction of the ground during seismic events. The project works include: - installation of an operational pad; - construction of stone columns; - erosion and settlement control; - geotechnical, vibration and settlement monitoring; and, - all related works. |
