Description | The M500 package is a design, build, finance, operate and maintain concession covering the complete operating railway above the civil shell, including driverless rolling stock and signaling systems for unattended train operation, trackwork, platform screen doors, ventilation, elevators, escalators, mechanical and electrical fit-out across 16 stations, a railway depot, maintenance facility, operations control center, and a 3,000-space park-and-ride facility. The concession term is roughly 32 years, including about 7 years of construction and 25 years of operations.
