Metter Downtown Streetscape - Phase III: The public downtown West End Central Park is surrounded by four streets: SR 46 (SW Broad Street) on the south; North Kennedy Street on the west; NW Broad Street on the north; and North Rountree Street on the east. This project is a continuation of streetscape enhancements to the downtown area. The length and width of the sidewalks are as follows: a) New north sidewalk (near NW Broad St) - 337.1'x6' b) Redo south sidewalk (near SW Broad St) - 336.1'x6' c) New central sidewalk - 270.4'x6' d) East sidewalk (near North Rountree St) - 149.9'x6' e) Redo middle sidewalk - 132.68'x8' Stamped concrete pavers will be installed in the crosswalks at 3 intersections, and ADA standards will be met. Existing landscape islands will be replaced with native trees and shrubs, and the park will be sodded with grass. Street furnishings will be upgraded to match those downtown (14 benched and 12 trash cans).
