Description | The proposed investment is a medium-term senior loan of up to US$15 million with ASA Microfinance Bank Limited, Pakistan (ASA MFB or the Bank). The senior loan proceeds will be fully utilized towards enhancing on-lending to women microfinance (WMF) borrowers and women-led/owned microenterprises (WMEs) across Pakistan (the Project). The Project will be processed under IFC’s MSME Finance Platform (the Platform) which is supported by a pooled first loss guarantee of up to US$40 million provided by International Development Association’s Private Sector Window Blended Finance Facility (IDA20-PSW BFF) allocated to the Base of the Pyramid (BOP) Envelope under the Platform. |
