Description | The proposed investment consists of a 5-year senior loan of up to US$10 million, including mobilization of up to US$5 million to Coris Bank International Tchad (CBI TD or the Bank), the third largest bank in Chad. The facility will contribute to increase access to longer-term financing for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSME) with at least 15 percent of loan proceeds dedicated to women-owned/led MSMEs (WMSMEs) in Tchad (the Project). Subject to further approvals, the Project will be processed under IFC’s MSME Finance Platform (the Platform) which is supported by a pooled first loss guarantee provided by the International Development Association Private Sector Window Blended Finance Facility (IDA20 PSW BFF) allocated to the SME Envelope under the Platform. |
