Description | MWH Global, Inc signed an agreement in August 2007 to construct a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 50,000 cubic meters per day in Mianzhu City, Sichuan Province. The project was procured via competitive bidding. MWH Global, Inc established a project company, Puresino (Mianzhu) Water Affairs Co. Ltd., to operate the facility for 25 years before transferring it back to the local government. The total investment was RMB 66 million (US$ 8.67 million) and MWH Global, Inc owns 60% of the project. |
