MIC ETUDE DE RENFORECEMENT DE L'INTEGRATION COMMERCIALE DE LA TUNISIE AVEC L'AFRIQUE SUBSAHARIENNE

The present operation consists of the realization of a study on the reinforcement of the commercial integration of Tunisia with the countries of the Gulf of Guinea, Central Africa and Great Lakes. The benefits of greater trade integration include economies of scale, increasing the size of the market, setting up value chains in different sectors, increasing economic growth and ultimately creating jobs in a region where unemployment, especially youth, is endemic. For this purpose, the study includes the following aspects: (i) diagnosis of Tunisia's trade situation with the targeted African countries; (ii) the highlighting of the main obstacles to the development of trade between Tunisia and these countries; and (iii) proposing a strategy with an action plan to implement this strategy.
