Description

Description

Michigan is a Brussels-based production company founded in 2006 by Sébastien Andres and Olivier Burlet, and joined by Alice Lemaire in 2017. We present this slate to ensure our ability to entering production for our most important projects currently in development: 5 feature-lengh films, consisting in 3 fiction features and 2 creative documentaries. Representing emerging directors as well as more established, mostly female director (3 out of 5) and with a diversity of stories and genres. We count on those 5 strong stories to reach a European and international public as diversified as possible in movie theatres and on SVOD platforms. Our main objective is to ensure Michigan a strong position in the european and international market. To strengthen our position, we’re planning to 1) increase development investments in ambitious international projects 2) extend our ambitious fiction productions 3) extend our coproduction schemes both with our existing partners and with new ones cross-borders and cross-languages. We count on our engagement towards a production market that would be more eco-responsible and more inclusive in terms of parity and diversity to become a key player in the international art-house production market.
