Description | Michigan Jervis B. Webb Co. is planning to construct a material-handling systems manufacturing plant on a 22-acre site in Boyne City. The project scope includes construction of a 210,000-sq-ft building; and purchase, relocation and installation of overhead cranes and fabrication, welding, assembly, finishing and testing equipment. Equipment will be relocated from the company’s existing plants in Boyne City and Harbor Springs. Integrity Construction Services LLC has been selected to provide general construction services. The new plant is expected to be operational by mid-2022. Webb will use the plant to consolidate its operations in Northern Mich. and produce components for airport luggage handling systems and automated guided vehicles. The company is a subsidiary of Daifuku Co. Ltd. |
