Midtown Bus Terminal Replacement Project - Dyer Avenue Deck Overs

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is constructing deck overs over below-grade portions of Dyer Avenue and the Lincoln Tunnel Expressway as part of the Midtown Bus Terminal Replacement project. The deck overs will temporarily support bus operations during terminal construction and later be converted into 3.5 acres of publicly accessible open green space. The project includes a seven-floor storage and staging facility for buses and ramps to the Lincoln Tunnel. Phase 1, including the deck overs and staging facility, will complete in 2030, with Phase 2, including demolition and new terminal construction, completing in 2035.
