The Umbrella Project will enable micro-beneficiaries to have easy and direct access to the micro-projects which, in an innovative way, will contribute to improving the quality of cross-border specialised and vocational education, preventing depopulation of the borderland, and particularly the outflow of young people in working age, by adjusting the vocational education system to the requirements of the cross-border labour market and to the expectations of employers in the support area. The Lead Partner (LP) together with Project Partners (PP) will implement the following activities: – preparing and updating implementation documents for micro-beneficiaries; – calls for micro-projects, their assessment and selection; – organising calls for micro-projects, trainings, assessments as well as concluding agreements on micro-projects with the LP; – ensuring the good implementation of Umbrella Projects, by, among other things, monitoring the UP’s implementation, preparing information on the progress of micro-projects, preparing monitoring visits, submission of partial payment claims, settlement of expenditure incurred in the framework of micro-projects and providing beneficiaries with refunds from the ERDF and state budget; – performing tasks related to communication and promotion of the project – among other things, promoting the UP and its results, implementation of activities as described in the Communication Strategy of the Programme, holding consultations for potential applicants and potential micro-beneficiaries, providing assistance in searching for partners, etc. Preferred will be micro-projects with an explicit cross-border effect and ideally match the objectives of the Programme guarantee the achievement of the result indicator of priority axis 3, i.e.: quality of education services in the whole borderland measured as index of satisfaction of individuals using such services. The achievement of the above-mentioned indicator will also improve the situation of the borderland by enhancing its economic potential and increasing the level of education, and strengthen the sense of belonging to the region.
