This project involves the construction of Milagres Solar project with generation capacity of 210 MW, located in Abaiara, Sate of Ceara, Brazil. Lightsource BP is the sponsor of the project, which will provide enough electricity to power more than 211,500 homes. The total amount of the investment is $148.7m (R$800m), of which $78.6m (R$423m) are provided with a loan from the Banco do Brasil through the Northeast Development Fund, managed by the Brazilian government agency "Superintendencia de Desenvolvimento do Nordeste". Construction on the transmission system for the complex started in December 2021 and the solar plant is scheduled for operations in early 2024.
