Although the Auvergne Rhone Alpes region is a highly innovative hot-spot and unique ecosystem in France, where SMEs are the leading employer, there is still a significant number of “traditional” SME not embracing the full potential given by digital technology to optimize and scale-up their activities. The operational DIH and EDIH candidate MINASMART will unite the regional innovation key stakeholders to support the digital transformation, drive the economy and foster technological excellence. The core teams is composed by 3 digital innovation clusters, 2 Research and Technical Organisations and 7 Innovation Clusters, that cover traditional SMEs and address key sectors of the the Regional smart specialization strategy (S3) : Energy, Health, Mobility and Intelligent transport systems, Chemistry and the Environment, Agritech and Foodtech, Textile. Key technologies (Edge AI, CybersecurityHPC, CPS and ) are considered in the deployment of 17 services for SMEs, raising digital awareness, ensuring knowledge transfer from technology experts, increasing competitiveness through digital transformation, supporting the green and digital twin transition and build long-lasting EDIHs collaborations. MINASMART will simplify innovation support ecosystem for all entities through a one-stop-shop that will gather around one consortium, common objectives and coordinated actions, all the services needed to tackle digital issues from upstream (research) to downstream (applications). MINASMART objective is to facilitate the digital transformation of more than 2000 SMEs per year by its 3rd year. To further support companies in their digitalization and overcome the financial barriers they face, MINASMART aims to raise more than 50M€ per year through public and private funding. MINASMART actions will also benefit to society and support a profound and sustainable transformation of jobs and skills needed to meet the challenges of a more digitized world.
