Description | The objective of the project is to install an Ultra Violet (UV) wastewater treatment system at the Minden Hills Wastewater Treatment Plant. The scope of work includes the installation of an Ultraviolet treatment system which in turn will eliminate the need for chemical treatment. The project will be contracted out to a qualified installer, using the tendering process. The project would be completed by December 31, 2017. The output of this product is delivering safely treated water into the environment without the use of dangerous chemicals. This also improves the safety of our operators as they will not have the need to handle dangerous chemicals currently used in the treatment of wastewater. |
