MINI SLATE – feature film FLOOD, TV series THE LAST BARONESS

Main objective is to secure diversification of projects produced in production company Silverart by developing different audiovisual formats. The first project FLOOD is a feature film debut focusing on the displacement of Ruthenians during the construction of a water reservoir. The second project is a historical TV series THE LAST BARONESS. Through the prism of life of the aristocrat Margita Czóbelová, we watch the dramatic changes happening in 20th-century Central Europe. Our development goal is to create universally comprehensible scripts to attract international audiences. This will be achieved by attending international screenwriting workshops and by connecting domestic screenwriting team with established international experts. We plan to benefit from intercultural views exchange, development of screenwriting skills and professional feedback. Development will also include location scouting and casting across Europe. The second important goal is to make our projects attractive on international level by presenting them at the key markets. In order to be ready for pitching, we’ll prepare materials including links to trailer or other audiovisual materials, creating strong and compelling marketing packages. Then we’ll be able to attract international partners for coproduction, distribution and prepare a solid financing structure.Moreover, we would like to follow up on our successful green production Stand Up, the first Slovak film shot in sustainable way, benefitting from our own experiences and valuable relations with green ambassadors across Europe. We will achieve all mentioned goals with the international team of producers, directors, screenwriters, DOP’s and international coproducers and broadcasters which is in total over 20 people. The main outputs of the projects will be scripts, trailer, main cast and locations, concepts of set and costume design, production and financing plans, reports from markets, and coproduction and distribution deals and contracts.
