Description | The Minnesota Low- and Moderate-Income Accessible Community Solar Garden (LMI Accessible CSG) Program is a community solar initiative designed to provide solar energy access to low- and moderate-income households and public interest organizations. The program transitioned from an open-ended development model to a capped system with an 800 MW capacity limit over ten years, with 100 MW capacity allocated annually for 2024 and 2025. It aims to bridge the gap for households historically excluded from renewable energy and has approved 179 MW of projects across 133 gardens as of December 16, 2025. |
