Minor upgrades to the raw water intake & pumping and piping systems low lift pumping station

Modifications to raw water intake and pumping system include (i) providing new screening and pump layout to meet Fisheries and Oceans Freshwater Intake End-of-Pipe Fish Screen Guideline and (ii) remove older ductile iron piping which is in very poor condition from the raw water piping system. This project will ensure that fish or any other debris do not enter our water treatment plant which could cause significant damage and or premature wear on equipment which could lead to expensive break downs and the potential disruption of municipal water service for the Town of Deep River.
