Miroir d'eau - Water Mirror

"The ""Water Mirror"" project aims to erase the formal border between learning and artistic creation. It aspires to make theatrical creation and practice the core of a lifelong, multi-sectoral and multi-disciplinary learning process. We are three dance and theatre companies based in France, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Italy. We are developing a series of workshops that involve professional artists, young people who have dropped out of school or are in social care, high school students, university students, guidance counsellors and teachers on an equal footing. All are involved in the same process of theatrical experimentation and discovery of the modern choir. All of them will have to share their gestures, their voices, their knowledge to end up with performances which, throughout Europe, will give all audiences the history of our continent, its memory and its words. "" Water Mirror "" will use the European literature of the last century, for example the memoirs of Stefan Zweig, to open the artistic and concrete research. Subsequently, the participants will discover contemporary references and confront the reflection of these texts in the present, in their own time. The performances that will result from this literary and scientific work will be offered in six European countries, and will allow thousands of people to grasp pieces of our common history and consciousness. The project is supported by Procédé Zèbre (Vichy), Lelastiko (Brescia) and Studio Teatar (Zenica).The Gymnasiums of Sigmaringen (Germany) and Perchtoldsdorf (Austria) as well as the University of Veterinary Medicine of Cluj-Napoca (Romania) are associated with it. Numerous artistic, social and educational institutions in the Allier, Lombardy and Bosnia will also collaborate with us."
