Miscouche New West Lagoon Upgrades

The project consists of the addition of a new lagoon cell at the existing West River Lagoon. The scope of the work involves the installation of a new west lagoon cell (approximately .62ha) including 330m berm construction, rock excavation, compacted clap liner, rip rap, environmental protection, topsoil and hydroseeding. The installation of a lift station including concrete chambers, equipment and controls; installation of a UV system and 25sqm structure; installation of 80m sewer main and manholes; 1000m fence installation; installation of a 220m entrance gravel driveway and drainage gravel. The aim of the project is to ease the burden on the 2 existing cell at the west lagoon as they are now at capacity. This project will assist the community in complying with Provincial and Federal standards as well as allowing room for future growth in the area.
