Description | The project will upgrade the Mitchell drinking water treatment/distribution centre in West Perth, Ontario. The work will involve replacing an emergency generator, motor control centre, two high-lift pumps and their variable frequency drives and motors as well as internal plumbing and valves. A concrete pad will also be built and the main electrical supply repositioned. The project will fund improvements to water treatment facilities, which will increase access to potable water by increasing the reliability and efficiency of the water treatment infrastructure. |
