Modernization and optimization of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system of the bedrooms of the living unit of the 4th West of the IUGM

The project aims to provide a modernized and optimized living unit at the University Institute of Geriatrics of Montreal (IUGM). The project includes the following elements: -Architecture: Redevelopment of all, double rooms to single rooms, private toilets and personal, common spaces. Including finishes and furniture that are at the end of their useful life. -Ventilation: Addition of an air conditioning unit, HVAC system; -Plumbing: Redo all the plumbing distribution due to the redevelopment of spaces; -Electricity: Redo the distribution of electricity due to the redevelopment of spaces; - Lighting: Redo the lighting in all the rooms. -Fire protection: Redo the distribution of sprinklers and fire detection due to the redevelopment of spaces; -Telecom and on-call: Redo the distribution of telecom and on-call due to the reorganization of spaces; -Structure: Opening of part of the roof for the passage of the ventilation unit in the mechanical room. The modernization of infrastructure will notably make it possible to support efforts in response to the pandemic and facilitate the work of economic recovery.
