The scheme of the project calls for the design, finance, construct, operate, maintain and transfer of the Moi University Hostels PPP Project in Uasin Gishu County under a Public Private Partnership arrangement.The scope of the project for the University's Main Campus consists of an 11,000 bed-capacity with a mix of 4-student, 2-student and single rooms student hostel accommodation on a 218,139.46 m2 site. The facilities will be located approximately 40km south of Eldoret, off the Eldoret – Nakuru highway, and will also feature dining halls and commercial facilities.As for the University’s Law Campus, the scheme consists of a 4,000 bed-capacity with a mix of 4-student, 2-student and single rooms student hostel accommodation on a 218,139.46 m2 site. The facilities will be located 10km from Eldoret, along the Eldoret – Nakuru highway 4, and will also count with student study common rooms, facilities management offices per hostel block, dining halls and kitchenettes.
