Description

Description

The Moldova TEN-T Road Network Rehabilitation Program aims to modernize 70.9 km of the M3 corridor under Tranche II Project (the Project). The project consists of four lots: The project’s categorization as Category A is triggered by Lot 2, expansion from 2 to 4 lanes, that means that a comprehensive Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and review of associated documents must be carried out, followed by their public disclosure for a minimum period of 120 days. The project is critical for Moldova’s integration into the EU transport network, improving connectivity, trade, and safety. The M3 Road forms part of the European route E577, which links Moldova to major European transport corridors (Corridors IV and IX), enhancing regional integration and facilitating trade and mobility across borders. 1.
