The project aims to enhance the quality and relevance of Vocational Education and Training (VET) in tourism in Moldova by updating its framework to reflect current digital and sustainability standards, as well as integrating entrepreneurship. It focuses on the development of a skilled workforce capable of innovating and driving growth within the tourism sector, aligning closely with EU practices. The project targets VET institutions, teachers, students, state authorities, and the tourism industry to create a comprehensive and sustainable impact. Key deliverables include updated teaching materials that incorporate EU best practices, a digital glossary for tourism-related terms, enhanced workshop materials for teacher training, and the development of an e-learning module on digital tools relevant to the tourism industry. The project will also produce a guide on sustainable tourism practices for future professionals, emphasizing the importance of environmental sustainability and digital transformation in the sector.
