Description | The Molefe copper project in Zambia is a mining project where Galileo Resources PLC and Jubilee Metals Group have signed a conditional collaboration agreement. Galileo will fund a US$700,000 exploration and resource programme to earn up to 23.75% in the project holding company, while Jubilee retains 71.25% interest and a local Zambian firm holds 5%. The project includes ramping up production to 4,500 tonnes per month of high-grade ore, stockpiling 2.2 million tonnes of lower-grade ore, and planning a processing facility to handle this material. An executive committee and board with members from both companies will oversee the project, and a drilling programme is underway to improve resource confidence and pit design. |
