Description | The Monarch Cloud Campus in Mason County, West Virginia, owned by NScale Energy and Power, is a project to co-locate up to 1,000 MW of hyperscale AI data centers with low-carbon hydrogen production and controlled-environment agriculture. The project aims to use waste heat and captured CO₂ from both the hydrogen facility and the data centers to supply adjacent greenhouses, reducing the cost and emissions of regional food production. Construction is planned to begin shortly with the goal of operating in 2027. |
