Description | ACCIONA has been awarded the contract for the operation and technical assistance of the Monegros Sur Sector XIII-A Irrigation Community in Zaragoza. The community covers 1,700 hectares of irrigated farmland in the municipalities of La Almolda and Pina de Ebro, serving 230 farmers. The system includes a modernized, on-demand pressurized irrigation system supplied by regulating reservoirs and an approximately 1 MWp solar photovoltaic facility to cover a significant share of the energy required for its operation, optimizing agricultural water use through efficient and sustainable resource management. |
