The project involves the development of Mongla Port in Bangladesh.The upcoming project includes the construction of 2 well-designed jetties, each stretching an impressive length of 183 m and spanning 40 m in width. These jetties are strategically designed to accommodate a vast array of maritime operations efficiently and effectively. To further enhance the port's capabilities, a substantial backup area covering approximately 90,000 sq m will be developed. This ample space will serve as a vital support zone for handling cargo, facilitating smooth operations, and ensuring seamless logistics. With the ability to handle a significant volume of containers, the port is projected to manage up to 70,000 TEUs (Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units) annually. Additionally, the jetties will be well-equipped to handle general cargo or break-bulk shipments, boasting an impressive capacity of 240,000 tonnes per year.
