Description | The project entails the construction, financing and operation of photovoltaic solar system in Monte Plata Province. The capacity of the facility is 34 MW. The sponsor is General Energy Solutions Inc. (“GES”) - a subsidiary of Neo Solar Power Corporation. The solar modules for Month Plate project are sourced from NSP and 132,000 pieces modules have been installed into project phase I with an output of approximately 50,470 MWh per year. The total project cost is $56.05 million. Financing of $38 million is being provided by Netherlands Development Finance Company (“FMO”) and German Investment and Development Corporation (“DEG”) for the SPV named Electronic J.R.C. S.R.L. The facility owner General Energy Solutions (GES) is providing $18.05 million equity financing.
