Monterrazas de Cebu Condominium Project Probe

under investigation

The Cebu city government is conducting its own investigation into the Monterrazas de Cebu, an upscale mountainside condominium project in Barangay Guadalupe. The probe follows public backlash blaming the development for worsening floods during typhoon Tino. The City Environment and Natural Resources Offices, along with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources - Mines and Geosciences Bureau, conducted a joint inspection. The investigation aims to assess the project's impact on flooding and enforce no build zones near waterways and riverbanks.
