Description
Description | Fictiorama Studios is a Spanish company founded with the main goal of becoming a global leader in the development of indie narrative-driven video games. The company has published two acclaimed video games: Dead Synchronicity: Tomorrow Comes Today and the successful Do Not Feed the Monkeys. Fictiorama is currently working on two games to be released in 2022: the sequel to Do Not Feed the Monkeys, Do Not Feed the Monkeys 2099, which has received the support of the MEDIA programme, and The Fabulous Fear Machine. This new project will allow the studio to continue its successful trajectory with the development of a playable PC demo of Moon: an innovative, narrative-driven video game that will reference certain European cultural and historical facts as narrative background, a promising arena for highlighting Europe’s cultural identity and heritage. The three main elements that embody the creative value of Moon are the narrative design, the mix of game mechanics designed to attract different kinds of players, and the artwork. To develop the project, Fictiorama will rely on a qualified team of seven people, all with extensive experience in video game development. As for the sales strategy for Moon, Fictiorama will focus on pitching the game to successful digital publishers capable of taking advantage of its huge worldwide commercial potential. While remaining faithful to the hallmarks of the studio, Moon is Fictiorama’s most ambitious game thus far, and the one that targets the widest audience, making it the Fictiorama game with the highest sales expectations. The support of the Creative Europe Programme is essential to achieving the goals pursued through this project. The recognition and prestige that come along with receiving this incentive from the MEDIA programme would also be a huge boost for Fictiorama’s future prospects, which would help it achieve greater success in both Europe and worldwide. |
