Moorefield Water System Renewal

This project will rehabilitate the drinking water system at the water treatment plant in Mapleton, Ontario. The work will include upgrades to the electrical and chemical delivery systems, facility repairs to address structural defects, the replacement of well pumps, high-lift pumps, and a standby power generator, installation of a new well for the drinking water system and a new twin storage standpipe, and upgrades to the power supply to support the required larger pumps. The project will fund improvements to water treatment facilities, which will increase access to potable water by increasing the reliability and efficiency of the water treatment infrastructure.
