Description	Information A Procurement-cum-Maintenance Agreement[PCMA] was signed on 30-11-2015 between Ministry of Railways and GE Diesel Locomotive Pvt. Ltd. , now Wabtec Locomotive Pvt. Ltd., a joint venture of Ministry of Railways and GE Global Sourcing India Pvt. Ltd. for setting up Diesel Locomotive Factory at Marhowra, Saran/Bihar, supply of 1000 nos Diesel Locomotives of 4500/6000 HP and setting up maintenance depots at Roza & Gandhidham for maintenance of these locomotives. Against this agreement 1000 nos Diesel Locomotives of 4500/6000 HP shall be supplied by the JV company to Indian Railways. Out of 1000, 565 locomotives have been supplied till October,2023.
