Morocco - Drafting of the Monetary and Financial Code

The project to support the elaboration of the Moroccan Monetary and Financial Code (P-COMOFIM) is an extension of reforms aimed at modernizing the business climate and strengthening the financial governance and attractiveness of the Kingdom. This project, whose execution time is scheduled for 36 months, will improve the laws and regulations of the Moroccan financial sector. The proposed intervention consists essentially of: (i) legal support to the Codification Team , (ii) the conduct of codification work, (iii) the formulation of legal opinions on the questions submitted to the Codification Team by the Project Steering Committee.
