Morocco - Electricity Project II

This intervention relates to the Electricity project II. It concerns the extension and improvement of the Tangier-Tetouan region network and consists of the construction of five (05) transformer stations and 60 KV. As part of this project, the construction of the five (5) proposed transformer stations and new transmission lines is expected to replace the existing old network, which is in a state of constant danger to the inhabitants and to provide the region with the energy needed for its economic activities, particularly the development of its chemical industries. The project includes: (i) the construction of approximately 600 km of 225 KV lines; (ii) the raising the voltage of 340 km line from 150 to 225 KV; (iii) the construction or conversion to 225 KV of 9 major transformer stations.
