Bank support for justice modernization is contemplated around the following components: (i) Governance and Judicial Organization; (ii Strategic Capacity and Skills Building (Professional Development (iii) Priority Investments, Scaled-Up Digitalization and Access to Justice for Citizens and Businesses.Component I will create the enabling environment for the change of paradigm by strengthening Governance, Judicial Organization and Inter-Institutional Coordination, and reengineer the judicial process into a citizen and business-centric one. Component II will seek to institutionalize the change of paradigm into mentalities by deploying strategic and innovative capacity and skills building initiatives that embed a service-oriented and user-centric approach into the mindset of judges, staff and key stakeholders. Finally, Component III will materialize and deliver the paradigm shift to citizens and businesses through priority investments in integrated digital and infrastructural service delivery systems for better access to justice. Together, these three components will seek to unite the key actors and engage key stakeholders to create a whole-of-justice eco-system where quality and inclusive justice is delivered efficiently and transparently to citizens and businesses.
