Morocco's First Vehicle Dismantling Center

Stellantis launched its first vehicle dismantling center in the Middle East and Africa region, located in Casablanca. The facility is designed to process up to 10,000 end-of-life vehicles per year and create around 150 direct and indirect jobs at full capacity. It operates under Stellantis's circular economy business unit, SUSTAINera, managing remanufacturing, repair, reuse, and recycling operations at industrial scale. The center will source vehicles from insurance companies, auctions, and end-of-life vehicle channels, dismantling them to recover fully functional original parts for resale through Stellantis' aftersales network and digital platforms. It also handles traction batteries from dismantled vehicles, serving Morocco and Sub-Saharan Africa, particularly West Africa.
