Morris Farm Agricultural Conservation and Retail Project

under transition

The Morris Farm in Wiscasset was sold to new owners, the Baldwin and Esbjerg families, who plan to preserve it as a working farm under an agricultural conservation easement. The project includes sustaining the farm through community partnerships, an online and in-person farm stand selling local Maine products, and agricultural activities such as grazing sheep and cattle and hay production. The farm aims to be a hub for collaboration, learning, and innovation while maintaining its agricultural heritage.
