Moses Mabhida Stadium Revitalisation

under construction

The iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban is undergoing an extensive multi-year emergency maintenance and upgrade programme. The project includes restoration of steel, concrete, and roof components, repairing mechanical joints, treating steel corrosion, reinforcing the arch structure, replacing the damaged roof membrane, and upgrading drainage systems. The Sky Car and other attractions will be restored to enhance tourism and spectator experience. The refurbishment aims to preserve the stadium's status as a world-class sporting facility and premier landmark, aligning it with modern international standards through architectural and branding interventions.
