Moses Mabhida Stadium Revitalisation

under construction

The iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban is undergoing an extensive multi-year emergency maintenance and upgrade programme to preserve its status as a world-class sporting facility and premier landmark. The project includes restoration of steel, concrete, and roof components, repairing mechanical joints, treating steel corrosion, reinforcing the arch structure, replacing the damaged roof membrane, and upgrading drainage systems. The Sky Car, viewing platform, and light/sound infrastructure will be upgraded to enhance tourism and spectator experience. The revitalisation aims to align the facility with modern international standards through architectural and branding interventions.
