Mount Bernard Avenue Reconstruction

The project consists of infrastructure improvements at Mount Bernard Avenue in the City of Corner Brook. The scope of the project includes the replacement of 1,100 meters of local water and water transmission pipes, 1,150 meters of sewer and storm sewer pipes, and 1,150 meters of new curb, asphalt, and gutter work. The project aims to improve water and sewer infrastructure and the necessary capacity to the trunk sewer for wastewater from the new Acute Care Hospital. It will also provide an improved driving surface and street drainage which will reduce maintenance. The project will contribute to increased capacity to manage wastewater and stormwater, increase access to potable water, and improve the road infrastructure in the City of Corner Brook.
