This third phase of the publicly owned hospital's multi-year redevelopment involves build and finance the following elements:Doubling the size of the emergency department to accommodate an expected increase in patient volume over the coming years.Adding 18 state-of-the-art operating rooms, including a new robotics-assisted suite and 3D imaging technology.Adding 18 beds in the intensive care unit for a total to 36, upgrading equipment and improving access to the emergency department.Adding 28 beds to the in-patient unit.Renovating a central out-patient area in the ambulatory clinic.Redeveloping a full-service, in-house medical devices reprocessing department
