The replacement of a highway structure on Route 2 in Mount Stewart. The scope includes: - Installation of environmental controls (silt fences, straw mulch, silt booms, check dams, retention ponds, and others as required) - Clearing and grubbing of vegetation locally within the project site - Excavation of earthen material to gain access to the structure for removal - Removal and disposal of the existing structure - Provision of temporary stream alignment in order to install new structure(s) in the dry - Construct forms, place reinforcement bars, and pour concrete footings; install new pre-cast concrete arch structure - Supply, placement and compaction of suitable backfill material - Install new guardrail - Supply, placement and compaction of roadway base gravels and asphalt base and wearing surface - Supply and placement of topsoil and hydroseed - Site clean-up and demobilize. Schedule would be from Sept. 2022 to November 2022.
