The new line spans over 300 kilometres, traversing the Ulutau and Karaganda regions. It aims to shorten freight transport distances by 149 kilometres, reduce congestion on the Moyıntı–Jarıq section, and increase the speed of container trains. Construction progress includes 90% completion of the railway bed formation and ongoing track-laying from Moyıntı and Kızıljar stations. |
