Mozambique - Maputo Water Supply

The proposed project will consist of the following : A. Extension of intake pump house and struture and provision of further raw water pumping capacity and pipework to new treatment works. B. Provision of a new 72,000 m3/d capacity water treatment works and adequate clear water stokage capacity. C. Construction of a new clear water pumping station near the new treatment works. D. Provision of clear water transmission mains - Umbeluzi to Matola, Matola to Machava. E. Engineering design and supervision services. F. Hydrogeological study of ground water resources to the North of Maputo. G. Acquisition of operationnal vehicles, tools, workshop and communication equipment. H. Staff training and Technical Assistance.
