Description	Mozambique LNG project is a liquefied natural gas project in Mozambique. In 2020, the project concluded a financing agreement for USD 15.4 billion with about 30 lenders including Export Credit Agencies and commercial banks. Due to a prolonged Force Majeure period, the financing agreement was amended to align with the updated project schedule. After lifting the force majeure, the project partners decided to proceed without the participation of UK Export Finance (UKEF) and Atradius, replacing their contributions with additional equity representing about 10% of the external financing. The project has the commitment of lenders representing around 90% of the external financing.
