Description | The Third Multi-State Agricultural Development Project will assist Ondo, Oyo, Lagos and Rivers States with the following core activities: (i) strengthening and operating a unified extension services and adaptive research system; (ii) developing efficient input supplies through privatization of retail distribution; (iii) improving fish production technology, and small stock management; (iv) rehabilitation and maintenance of rural infrastructure through private contractors and local governments; and (v) strengthening the planning and monitoring role of the state Ministries of Agriculture and Natural Resources (MANR) and their federal counterparts. The project also provides funds for technical assistance and training. |
