Description | Everest Metals Corporation has received approval to commence mining operations at the Mt Dimer Taipan gold and silver project, located 150 km northwest of Kalgoorlie. The project involves small-scale open-pit mining based on an existing mineral resource of 722,000 tonnes grading 2.1 g/t gold and 89,011 ounces of silver at 3.84 g/t. Mining activities will include cutting back the existing open pit, trucking ore to a processing facility in Kalgoorlie, and waste management onsite. The project is fully permitted with approval for the mining proposal and mine closure plan. |
