Description | Reliance Industries Limited, led by Mukesh Ambani, is developing one of the world's largest single-site solar projects spread across 550,000 acres of dry land in Kutch, Gujarat. The project will deploy 55 MW of solar modules and 150 MWh of battery containers daily at its peak, aiming to meet nearly 10% of India's electricity needs within the next decade. It will integrate with Reliance's marine and land infrastructure at Jamnagar and Kandla, and will also produce green ammonia, green methanol, and sustainable aviation fuel. The project includes operational solar PV manufacturing and construction of battery and electrolyser giga factories. |
