Multi - Utilities project in Amaala

The project involves mixed-use development on a 4,155 sq km land area located at Amaala on the north-western coast of Saudi Arabia. The scope of works includes the construction of 30 to 35 hotels with a capacity of 2800 rooms, 900 private residential villas, apartments, and estate homes, alongside 200 high-end retail establishments, fine dining, wellness and recreational facilities. The development of one international airport will also take place as part of the master plan. The development will be carried out in phases. In the first phase, six hotels with a capacity of 1000 rooms will be built as well as a large marina and a residential golf course. The project also encompasses an optimized off-grid renewable energy system that harnesses energy from photovoltaic technology, a battery energy storage system ensuring 24/7 power availability, a desalination plant, and a wastewater treatment facility, all powered by renewable sources.  The aim of the project is to convert the Amaala into a tourist destination and transform the land into an attraction for art, wellness as well and conservation of natural coral reefs and beauty. The masterplan is divided into three parts fulfilling different goals: Triple Bay with a goal to provide a place with a place for wellness, rejuvenation, and longevity; The Coastal Development has an objective to focus on art, culture, and conservation; and The Island will be home to luxurious resorts and residential estates.
